We couldn’t find any experts locally and in the end I decided to do a search on the internet to see
what came up. QuantumLinx were one of about 8 SEO companies that I sent an enquiry to and they
responded quickly. Even though I was very suspicious of SEO companies, I liked the fact I wasn’t tied

My name is Don. My partner Jim and I own Granicrete Australia P/L. We had a website and thought that was good enough, but soon learned that a website is like a car, it just sits there if nobody drives it. I was contacted by Quantumlinx and through a couple of conversations with them I was shown that my site did not rank on Google, not even in the top 10,000. However, just because someone says they are able to get your site ranked on Google does not mean they can.

Knowing the depth of understanding required to deploy effective SEO and having been caught in a 12 month contract with another firm whose results were somewhat lacklustre, I was hesitant to commit to further expenditure in this area.

others have before me, battled it out in the sales trenches, invested much time and passion, not to
mention thousands upon thousands of dollars on sketchy internet marketing.

I used to spend a lot of dollars on Google Adwords for our company listing to appear on the 1st page in Google search. However, none of the Google resellers that we used ever managed to deliver what they had promised – to get our company listed in the first page of the Google under the competitive keyword of the service/ business we are in; and when it did it was always short-lived, it would basically depend upon the daily budget we are prepared to spend to get the X number of ‘clicks’ in a day, and when the allotted dollars are spent our company listing will be gone from the first page. The results were far from satisfactory, there was hardly a time when we could even locate our company’s link in the 1st page of Google
Then in October 2009, after further research, I found out about SEO and contacted a Queensland-based company who proclaimed to be an expert in SEO and promised to list our business in the 1st page of Google Maps within 5 working days!
We signed up for their services but never heard back from them after payment was made – no update, no follow-up, no contact was ever received (their General Manager contacted me on a daily basis before we send the payment). Weeks had gone by but the listing never appeared.
After several tries in contacting the company, I managed to get in touch with them only to be informed that it would take a few weeks before our services/ company listing can appear on the 1st page. After several months and more follow-ups and hearing excuses, on April 2010 we finally escalated the matter to the Department of Fair Trade NSW and demanded a full refund of payment.
Having tasted the bitter experience I was very skeptical when I got the email offer from QuantumLinx about SEO; I was not even remotely intrigued by what they had to offer. However, through their persistence and after several emails, I decided to give it another try but was prepared for the worst.

We were already with Sensis for our Adwords program, but this was simply not delivering a prominent Google presence for us and was not being reflected in any abundance of new business enquiry from this source. QuantumLinx is a unique company, in that they actually do what they say they can do. In a time where people no longer reach for the yellow pages, but rather, the internet search engines, the ranking and relevance of your business in the search results are becoming ever more important.
I had attended seminars and even paid a SEO consultant and implemented all the recommended changes. I was told things i need to do every month to maintain the rankings and that it would take at least three to 6 months to start seeing any improvement. What i did made little or no difference.

In this day and age the internet rules and there is not a business on this earth worth its salt that does not have some sort of internet presence of some description.

Many of us spend a bit of money on designing and establishing a website that we hope will cater to our clients and in turn increase business. The real challenge however is having a presence when it comes to the web. Before coming across QuantumLinx I had started researching ways improving our natural rankings and was getting bogged down with the technical aspect. Not having much experience in or understanding of internet rankings I was understandably sceptical when approached by Quantumlinx. Like many other professionals who run a busy natural health practice, I am faced with an increasing level of competition in a booming industry. As a long standing user of the internet as a marketing tool I once managed to get plenty of work through a personally managed website. That was well before everyone jumped on the internet wagon and saturated it. Of course, it was all just a matter of time. I instinctively knew that I no longer had the necessary knowledge/skill to drive more traffic to my website and away from my ever increasing competition, and tried a few companies that promised to get my website to the top of the rankings, without real success. So I was certainly concerned about handing that task to another such provider when I was approached by Quantumlinx.
